I expect the Flames to be a perennial playoff team this year forward. Whether or not they end up as a "contender" in that mix is dependent on a lot of the things present in here. But they should have the talent necessary to get them to the dance. Winning in the playoffs is a different beast. A lot of things have to go right. And to be an ongoing contender?
