Thanks for the info. I guess there's liability in everything nowadays. They are delivering the vehicle to me in Calgary and made it sound that they would only deliver the vehicle if I had these two things in place. I already have insurance, though as mentioned, I have 14 days to transfer registration with a bill-of-sale.

Altogether, I found it unusual. I bought a vehicle from Lexus of Edmonton in 2011 and I recall arranging this after purchase.

Edit: Silly me. They are asking for Registration and Insurance. Should have caught this in the OP.
