Blues flap the Wings
In the season opener the St. Louis Blues went into Detroit and beat them with a late rally. The Blues jumped out to an early 4-0 lead that saw them sit and relax but the relentless Red Wings came storming back to take a 5-4 lead. After a timeout, and Hasek being pulled in favor of newly acquire backup, Chris Mason, the Blues answered right back with a tally by Hemsky, and the game winner by everyone's favorite Chucky Kobasew with only 1:05 to play.

(Kobasew nets the game winner with 65 seconds to play)
Look for the Blues to keep up this intensity, as their blueline chipped in for 2 of their team's 6 goals. Hemsky seems to love his new linemates as he had a goal and 2 assists.
