Couldn't disagree more. GOTG is completely outlandish for its entire runtime. Ant-man? A guy who can get really small and communicate with ants? That's not outlandish? And who the heck relates to Thor, or even Iron Man? Lot of billionaire genius alcoholic womanizers going to the theatres these days?
Moreover, in terms of sadistic villains, there's absolutely no one more sadistic than Kilgrave, though I'm not sure if you want to count that given that it's a Netflix series. But outside of Nolan's series, the villains have been mostly cartoons. What the heck was Luthor's motivation in BvS?
