Would either of the models I'm considering cause a problem as far as hooking up both a 360 and a speaker system to the TV? And what cords and I'm looking at buying? I know that the 360 comes with HD cords but I dont know if there's any other cords that I need to buy.

If your dvd has DVI...I would get that. Better than composite.
