Phillips is fun and all but as a smallish LW he stands at about 6th on our depth chart behind Johnny, Shinkaruk, Mangiapan, Klimchuk and Dube (probably to small to play centre).
Smith with his size and aggressiveness fills a need and held his own in his first pro season.
