I'm not normally a superstitious person, and think this charade you went through at the Hall is ludicrous, but I would absolutely do the same thing.
Crazy superstitions and rituals are part of what makes being a fan fun. We know it doesn't actually make a difference of course. Nothing is going to change if you waited to look at the Cup last, we know that, but it's still cool that you did it.
My day-to-day superstition is PVRing games, thinking that if I'm not watching live, they won't play as well. How stupid, of course, but I like thinking it.
