I don't see Dekeyser as a top pairing guy, I see him as a solid #3. So I would compare this contract to Hamilton's (though Hamilton is 3 years younger and has more upside).

And on that basis, it sounds about right. Big guy, can move the puck, does everything well, and is young (this contract buys pretty much all of his peak years).

So I don't mind those numbers for him.
