The problem most posters have had in this thread is with
this post in which ricardodw makes a rather unsophisticated comparison between the production from ONE season of a 21-year-old Monahan and a 24-year-old Schenn, and then hedges his bets by suggesting that—like Phaneuf—there is a looming possibility that Monahan's scoring will stagnate.
Both ideas are pretty outrageous.
