The guy said he doesn't really
need a truck, or do anything over the top with it. He needs a 4x4 and to maybe haul a small camper. A Ridgeline will allow you to do that, and pretty much everything else that your average city-dwelling citizen actually will do with it... with much better ride and handling characteristics, Honda reliability, and in a smaller manageable package that isn't a pain in the ass to park.
But yeah, there's no Sam Elliot telling you that you're only a real man if you drive an oversized Tonka with 100 pounds of chrome belt buckle on the front... so it's clearly not a truck.
