With Vancouver's ownership refusing to rebuild, and trying to make playoffs, they pretty much have to take a chance on a player like Kane, if available. Acquistion cost would be low and they don't really have the assets to go for a trade for a "good" top 6 forward. If it does not work out, they can throw him into the expansion draft. Vegas is going to need to get to the salary cap. I have a feeling Kane and Rick Nash are going to be playing for Vegas come 2017/18 season.
