What, are you serious? Taken from another article, "
The Times found the former page after others identified him as someone whose contacts with Foley went beyond graphic messages." Seems there is no doubt that others knew, but kept their mouths shut. This will not play well in the criminal investigation. As I stated, prior knowledge has now been established. It is going to be impossible for the Republicans to plead ignorance when other pages were well aware of the actions of Foley. That pledge of ignorance is not going to fly in a criminal investigation.

In any case, it is also being suggested that certain members of the House on the other side of the aisle were in the know for a significant period of time and did nothing hoping to maximize the political damage for the GOP.
Either way, it is a big mess.

Nice spin there. Where was this "suggested" and by whom? Something tells me thatcame from the GOP and is completely unsubstantiated. That's the old, "they knew about it so I can't be guilty" angle. Sorry Dis, doesn't fly in criminal actions. Foley committed the crime and now he has to pay the piper. The links through to Republican leadership will likely become very obvious as well.
Say, what did you think about Jeb Bush being forced to hide in a closet when trade unionists became verbally abusive while trying to lend his support to Rick Santorum? Is Santorum's political career almost dead as well?
