Every work day, I run. I purposely get off the bus far away from home and run. I was at 6.5km for a few weeks, but have been feeling better and started to increase to 9km and 10km. I think I could do more if the routes near my home were flatter, but that's the NW for you. Strangely, it's not my legs that are sore, once I am warmed up, I feel great. it's my arms that I feel are going to fall off. Today I was excited though, as I managed to get my little 10km trophy on Strava and got a few good times on some segments. I will probably keep doing this until it gets too cold in the morning to wear shorts.

After I get showered and have dinner, we go out as a family for a walk around the surrounding neighbourhoods, and on weekends we try to do some longer hikes in the mountains, or urban strolls along the Nose Creek pathway.

We used to have our kids in more activities, but we have started narrowing down to the ones they genuinely enjoy, which is mainly swimming. This is unfortunate, because I don't enjoy swimming in pools.
