We have 3 dogs.....likely to be 2 by Wednesday unfortunately.

Molly is a 13 YO Bijon ####zu who was just fine by all appearances on Saturday. Yesterday morning i went to let her out an she turned and went into the front room which she never ever does...and just layed down. I knew something was wrong.

Kept an eye on her the rest of the day hoping it was just a dog flu or something but by 8 last night it was apparent this was nothing we could help her with. To the vets office she went and after some blood and urine tests it was discovered she had almost no white blood cells working. Without subjecting her to more poking and prodding it was explained that she very likely has cancer but it could be a bad infection. As of about 8 tonight I am aware that its not something simple that anti-biotics and some pain killers will fix.

This comes on the heel of my grandmother passing away at the age of 105 and 345 days last Monday and the service occurring tomorrow.

Funny thing is though that as much as I adore and love my grandmother...im having a harder time with Molly's situation...though i expect that will change tomorrow.

Wednesday isnt gonna be a very good day i fear but just telling the story helps i think.

Anyhow...love your family everyone but dont neglect those who cant speak for themselves.

Pets rock.
