edit * actually, it's not that good. Here is what a poster said on the website -Matt - There's a common mistake that is often found in well meaning articles like this. Saying that more white people do X is meaningless unless you compare population sizes. About 70% of the population is white and 13% is black, this means in the above example given where you cite that 55% of police deaths are caused by whites and 46% by blacks the stats show whites are actually much less likely based on population size to kill a cop. Someone who understands statistics would instead of reading your interpretation would read the opposite, because in that case 13% of the population caused 46% of police fatalities. Suddenly you're confirming your opponent's position rather than bolstering your own.
