Those who are expecting a playoff team I think are in for a surprise. I'd like nothing more to be firmly entrenched in the division lead and earn a playoff spot. But the team IMO still has a ways to go. Elliot is the biggest and most important acquisition this summer and how far the team goes will depend on him and Johnson.
Last time we made the playoffs it was the perfect storm of unsustainable comebacks and the rest of the pacific sucking. I will consider the rebuild complete when we challenge for the division lead year after year and the team can take over games like the good teams in the league do.
I think the team has better pieces in place year after year with Treliving at the helm. I'm hoping for a step forward at the least. A change in play that tells me the team in on the verge of something great.
