Here's what I thought of it. I didn't think it was as bad as some of the critics made it out to be, but it wasn't good either. It was, average. Like 5/10 average.

Here's 3 things I liked:
- Chris Hemsworth. I thought his portrayal of Kevin was hilarious. I get that some people had a problem with him being too stupid at times, but for me his dimwittedNess worked.
- the first 10 minutes. The suspense was well build at the beginning and I found it engaging. Unfortunately, it didn't keep pace with the rest of the movie
- the cameos. Some of the cameos were great. Won't say much more to avoid ruining it.

Now the 3 things I didn't like:
- the antagonist's motivation. I found it terribly thin. I also had a problem with how he became so powerful after death. Where did that come from?
- the way ghosts were disposed. I just don't understand how you can "kill" a ghost. Aren't ghosts dead to begin with? How do they die again?
- the cameos. Ok, I did like some of the cameos, but I also found them to be terribly distracting. The cameos sometimes took me out of the movie, due to the reminder of how these people once portrayed much superior characters in the previous, much superior movie.

I went in with an open mind. I didn't want to be swayed by the reviews and all the negativity attached to this movie. But even after doing so, I can say this movie is probably best watched on Netflix instead of the theaters.
