I would say their Juniour numbers are fairly close overall, but Poirier's excellent rookie professional season trumps all that Mangiapane has accomplished to this point.

Except Poirier's excellent rookie pro season was not his most recent season. And for a prospect, the most current season counts for so much unless there is an injury IMO.
Poirier certainly might bounce back but any assessment of his potential needs to take his underwhelming most recent season into account.
