Baseball is back today! It's funny how a few days off feels like forever when it comes to baseball, but we see 2 or 3 day layoffs in hockey all the time.
Anyway, they start start a weekend series in Oakland (38-51) tonight. Starters are a bit up in the air, but should be Stroman v Mengden tonight. After that it's a bunch of question marks.
I found an interesting site regarding predictions for the MLB that is pretty comprehensive. It gives winning percentages for each game based on team ELO, making adjustments for starting pitching as well as home field advantage and travel factors. Pretty interesting if you are into that kind of thing. The site has Jays ranked 2nd overall in the league in ELO, which seems promising.

EDIT: For those wondering about ELO, it is based off how chess performance was ranked. It's essentially an ongoing adjustment of a teams performance based on their past performances and their likeliness to win based on past ELO projections. Pretty interesting stuff:
