His phrasing of describing the rural search area was interesting, almost like they don't
expect to find anything at that particular site. Maybe that's just my interpretation of it.

People are begging for answers, but CPS don't have much of anything right now... the guy's hands are tied. They're pretty much forced to do a presser announcing the arrest but that's all they really have right now.
