Even if you are in fact wrong it's better safe than sorry so I wouldn't get overly upset about forum members having a little lighthearted fun. The pictures you attached while of poor quality looked like coyotes. The big brown/red one would be the one you would want to take a quality picture of and provide to animal authorities as well as here to redeem yourself.
At the very least it appears you have a coyote problem and it's good to let neighbors with small children or pets know that they shouldn't be left alone in yards or in the neighborhood.
