I completed the 160 km PGAMO on Sunday. My goal going into it was to finish in under 6 hours. As I detailed earlier in this thread, I hurt my knee three weeks ago. I got it as ready as I could. Early on in the PGAMO I knew it would be sore at one point. It held up for about 3 hours, and I was making excellent time. Then it just was too sore to go that speed anymore. I did the first 100 kms in almost exactly 3:00, and it took me 2:42 to complete the last 60. I stopped on one hill four times because it hurt so much, and 1 more time on another hill. The good news was that I finished, and still had banked enough time early on that I broke 6 hours, with a final time of 5:42. 8 minutes of that was stopping on hills. I was very pleased I managed to go the whole race without stopping at a single aid station for water, and I didn't take any pee breaks. My new saddle is awesome and I with I had bought it much earlier. I think it helped in the lack of pee breaks. Without my injury I think I could have broken 5:30, as one of the people I was riding with for a while finished in 5:29. Hopefully I recover, and I will take another shot at it next year.
