Just a note, offensively prior to be drafted, Kylington outperformed Erik Karlsson. In his draft -1 year, Kylington was exactly a PPG player in the super elite league (junior) in Sweden. In his draft year Karlsson was a PPG player in that same level junior level that Kylington played in his draft -1 year. Karlsson played his draft +1 year in the SHL primarily getting 10 points in 45 games for a significantly lower PPG rate.

Then when Karlsson came over in his draft +2 year, he put up 11 assists in 12 AHL games, and 26 points in 60 NHL games.

Kylington has led him to this point. We will see if he too can force himself onto the NHL roster and if he does, what kind of performance we will see.

I wouldn't be shocked if his career mirrors Karlsson as they play the game in a very similar manner. Just have to wait and see, but it is evident that he does have that as his peak upside.
