They know how to play the script straight but just have the characters interacting and reacting to the absurd situations. That's the key to Ghostbusters. It sounds like Feig had no idea what he was doing and wrote the new film like an SNL skit or total farce where everything is treated like bad comedy.

I agree, the game was well done. It bothers me greatly that they spent all those years fighting to convince Murray to make Ghostbusters 3 only for him and the rest of the original cast to show up in this new movie not even playing their own characters. Thanks Bill.
