I disagree that Silva came for the payday

He was being a company man and saving the card. It's not a big surprise that he and Henderson stepped up to take the fight as that is what old school guys did. He did the organization a favour and yes no doubt he'll get rewarded heavily for it. Far to many fighters now are more concerned about their legacy and don't realize that taking one for the team if better than playing it safe

The fight was a fight for the fans, outside of a spectacular knockout there wasn't going to be any winners in it.
