I'm torn on the crowd booing. I kind of felt bad for the guy because it worked in the sense that he won the fight. But at the same time there was no time when you would think that Silva was done or in any real trouble.
The problem is that the sport rewards guys who are great wrestlers but then can't or don't do anything from there. Like yeah, you took your opponent down and the proceeded to do nothing. He couldn't get up and didn't do much either, so you win the round. Cormier is a great wrestler, but his fights are terrible.
I don't know what the solution is, but fighters pinning guys against the cage or laying on them and doing the bare minimum so that they aren't stood up is terrible for the fans.
