Finally got the Thunderbolt out on dirt this morning as I went to west Bragg and rode snowshoe hare, bragging rights and merlin....my thoughts were:

. Skipping the first part of bragging rights by riding snowshoe hare is much easier than that grind out of the parking lot
. I was stunned at ow dry the trails were
. Not sure if it was the bike, or me - but today I rode about 95% of that loop, including several sections that I previously had trouble with

This bike is a rocket, it is much more nimble than my old altitude. The slightly wider tires, 2.4, seemed to float over more stuff.

Need to dial it in a bit, to make the fit more comfortable.

I am hoping to get out tomorrow, but the forecast does not look promising.
