For those in the market for a decent video card deal, NCIX has this one:

eVGA 7900 GTO

The card is basically a 7900GTX with the memory clocked down. However the memory chips are supposedly the same anyway so it can be overclocked to near 7900GTX speeds (or so I've read).

Anyway, for $265 after rebate this is a pretty great deal considering the 7900GTX is over $500 and this will outperform the more expensive 7950GT. This should also outperform or be close to an X1900XT (not an XTX) in most cases which is $400. Also this has the larger cooler on it (like the GTX), so it's quite quiet compared to the stock ATI hair dryer loud coolers.

Overall a good deal if you're looking for a card now. I figure I'll wait out the first generation of DirectX 10 video cards so this is worth it for me. And normally I like ATI's but this was too good a deal.

Plus I ordered it late Thursday afternoon, and it arrived at 10:00 the next morning! That's fast!

Anyway, just wanted to share.
