First off, thanks Caged great! Being out in Victoria, its nice to see some REAL camp action.
I say that because I endured the Nucks Dev Camp today at Shawnigan Lake School out here on the island..

There are d-men that are passive and don't use their physical assets like Juolevi. Then there are D-men like Fox. He might be small, but he has a lot of heart. Instantly became one of my favourite prospects. Knocked a few people over and was one of the most physical of all players and smart in how he used his physicality to separate people from the puck.

I can tell you, he doesnt look very big. Infact, he was not much of anything TBQH.. on one drill, Scott Walker was having the Dmen fake a shot from the blueline at the boards then make a pass to the D partner for a shot.
Walker stepped in twice with him and reminded Juolevi that he has to look at the net and sell the shot then look at his D-partner to make the pass, his no lookers that close to the line kept going outside the zone.
All in all, i was really unimpressed with Juolevi.
Brock Boeser was really impressive last year, but this year he didnt seem to have the same intensity...
The standout from today on the Nucks ice was Dman Troy Stetcher, but he is smaller, 5'10 190lbs. He was quick with the puck, can skate like the wind and can make solid plays at high speed. Good composure in tight spots too. Also plays with Boeser at U of ND.
Demko was pretty good. big goalie. Not a lot got passed him.
One guy I really liked last year and looks even better this year, Dmitry Zhukenov. Not a big guy but hes relentless in his puck pursuit and has some skill. I would love the Flames to get their hands on him.
