Uh, yeah, bringing up Bolland in a conversation about Bouwer is Apples and Oranges. Totally irrelevant nonsense.
I mean, is Bolland at 5.5 the issue? Because 5.5 per for 5 years for a player 2 years ago that (at the time) had never played a full season, had come off of putting in a 35 and a 23 game season, and was coming off seasons of getting 0.49, 0.40, and 0.52 Pts per game does seem a little crazy.
Definitely a different conversation than 4.5/4 for a guy who hasn't missed a game in years and is coming off seasons of 0.52, 0.52, and 0.48 Pts per game.
The Bolland comparison makes no sense no matter how you look at it. A million dollars less for a better and more reliable player... you're right... great deal?
