By the time Colborne lowered his asking price the bridge was probably already burned and Flames had brought in Chaisson and Brouwer.
In the end sucks for both sides. Flames lose a player for nothing, and Colborne has to leave Calgary which was his preference and doesn't get much of a pay raise.
