The question for players like me is "Is this game enjoyable enough to keep me hooked until this point in time."
I can only lose so many games getting gold medals for objective kills and objective time. It isn't fun knowing no matter what you do, unless you can convince five people you've never met before to try and play the game the way the devs designed it and work together, you're going to lose. I don't have the patience for that sort of thing anymore. I am sure I'd feel the same way about LoL if I was just starting to play it now though.
