I don't think this sets any prices. I think it was purely a function of Edmonton's desperation, combined with a bit of league-wide punishment for their completely unjustified, yet almost boundless arrogance over the past several years.
I honestly think the collective GMs said: enough with the lottery wins and the smugness, we're discounting the value of your players.
All else equal, Hall is worth more - way more - than Larsson. Period.
