The point isn't that there is a throwing up of hands and abandonment of protection of children because people don't obey. The point is there are so, so many TOTALLY stupid playground zones that people are sick of them and drive accordingly.
Politicians are ballless losers 95% of the time. So much crap instituted that is just pandering. Cut out every last one that is irrelevant. Put speed bumps on the ones that are and I'll bet ya dang near everybody is happy and safe!!!
