WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAAAAh. Let's not get out of control and say things we can't take back here. I have worked very hard to be able to eventually one day have kids and be a lazy slackass and an irresponsible parent.
I have two solutions that don't involve MORE GUNS IN THE DAMN SCHOOL. Here they are:
1) Parents: If your kid is awkward, dresses in all black, listens to heavy metal music about death and destruction, is building grenades in his/her bedroom, seems distant and has a history of violence............ maybe that's about the point in time you should try and oh i dunno.. make a move I guess.
2) If the media didn't portray every school shooting on CNN, FOX, NBC, CBC, GLOBAL, EVERY NEWSPAPER... perhaps this activity wouldn't be such a glorious event to these attention deprived trigger happy maniacs. Like seriously... the police should prevent all media outlets from coming anywhere NEAR the school when an event like this occurs. It only feeds the fire.
