Montreal loses this one for sure. When will GM's realize that these perceived "character" flaws in talented players should be things to live with, and more the coach and team has to manage it. Talent still wins and you can't give up arguable elite talent for character players. It's a fatal flaw in yesterday's thinking. When the Leafs gave up Kessel for nothing it was a joke as well. Montreal of all teams really doesn't have much trade wise going for them, so losing a near elite d-man for Webber at this stage of his career, with that contract is simply bad asset management. With both Chiarelli and Bergevin, you have to think they run their show with more of an iron fist than a committee decision (or with a bunch of yes men), because I'm sure if you have a proper supporting cast they wouldn't let these types of deals happen.
