Without Stannis' tomfoolery, J. Snow and company never would have won that war. It was Ramsay's overconfidence from the Stannis victory that led to his decisions to squander troops by leaving the castle and then shooting arrows at his own troops.
It's very possible you would have seen a unified Stark / Baratheon force, but realistically the Baratheons weren't bringing much to the table without their forces from King's Landing. That's why Stannis' force was largely sell swords.
