It's a lOT easier to risk losing a player after a bad season than it is after a successful season. If Tre let Bouma go after last season and the team missed the playoffs, people would say he let the heart and soul of the team go and he would get al the blame. In this case, Colborne had a career year but the team still missed the playoffs. It's a lot easier sell to let Colborne go.
