As a pub owner I can safely say drinking and driving is not a rare occurrence, I have personally paid for some patrons to get home safe but I or the staff can't catch them all. fact is a big percentage of people make bad decisions under the influence of alcohol, the only way to stop drinking and driving is to ban alcohol or have a blow system in every car.
Mommy's basement? Im a god damn sailor! Drinking is what we do.

I dont drink and drive.

In fact, quite often I DD for my buddies. And if I'm not getting wrecked in foreign ports, I drive the ships vehicle making sure my wingers get back to the boat safely.

It's called looking out for one another and being a responsible adult.

Driving while drunk is seriously one of the stupidest things anyone can do.

$20-$40 cost is much better than killing someone else.

And if you can't afford the cab ride, you probably can't afford to be drinking.

This is a culture thing. Unfortunately, like some of the stupid attitudes in this thread, it has become the norm of many idiots in this society.

If it only affected the driver, I would say drive drunk all you want and hopefully you kill yourself while doing it.

F****ng idiots..
