I wouldn't call it insane. We're talking about a player that was very mediocre for the majority of his time here aside from a couple of months at the end of a lost season. As other posters pointed out, it happens all the time. The Flames were one of the worst teams in the league. If Colborne was so good he'd have made more of a difference in that throughout the season. Some things have got to change if the team is going to get better. Losing a inbetween forward is surely not going to make much of a difference if it happens.
