Another tidbit from this morning's BBC: Cameron locked himself in a box by promising this referendum in a bid to "spike UKIP's guns". The Conservatives were losing support, and he agreed to this in order to remain in power. And Cameron led the remain campaign. So yeah, he's the one who is going to take the fall for it, and the fallout from yesterday will most definitely be Cameron's legacy.
