There is no mechanism under the Lisbon Treaty once Article 50 has been invoked to withdraw a request to leave the Union. It would be entirely uncharted territory, but my guess is that once Article 50 is invoked (Cameron said he would do it immediately if leave won) the negotiation process under the Lisbon Treaty will start and the UK will be on the path out with no off ramps.
