From a distance you don't really know what's going on but based on what has happened in the past and rumours around the draft I think Treliving has done a good job to position the assets he acquired in the 2nd round to be a big player this weekend.
But I do think he should let it simmer until Friday now, he's set things in motion.
Probably smart to let the Penguins stew in their own filth while he keeps his options open for moving up, get to Friday and be ready to move in one of many directions.
Would hate to see them take on Fleury's contract and shed 2nd round assets before seeing what's what with the Columbus move up option.
Saw last night that Arizona has received a significant offer to move down in the draft as well. Their GM Doogie Howser was talking about 20 going back too far so I'm guessing it's someone in the teens. Would have to think Calgary has seen a similar offer as well with them up a spot on Arizona.
