If the ask is ridiculous, the counter offer will also be as ridiculous. The nasty part of me hopes that Treliving countered with 6OA for MAF + Crosby @ 50% retained. And since the stupid Penguins rumor came out first, it also made many TB fans also feel immediately entitled to our 6th OA too when the dim bulb posted his crap about Bishop. Arrrrrrrrgh!!!

Well, lucky that the TB fans aren't the ones making any trades.
I doubt anyone can honestly claim they saw Dougie Hamilton becoming a Flame for a few draft picks last year. I'm fairly optimistic people will be surprised by what Treliving is able to accomplish at this year's draft. He has the assets available to make a splash, that's for sure.
