The Calgary Flames announced today their 2016-17 regular season schedule. Calgary kicks off the '16-‘17 campaign with a home-and-home Battle of Alberta with the Edmonton Oilers starting on Wednesday, October 12th at Rogers Place before they return to Calgary for the Flames home opener at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday, October 14th.

The Flames will play each divisional opponent five times, with the exception of Edmonton who they will face in four games. Calgary will play each Central Division opponent three times and will play all Eastern Conference opponents twice (once home and once away).

The Flames host the Arizona Coyotes on New Year's Eve on Saturday, December 31st. The Christmas schedule also includes home games against Toronto (November 30th), Minnesota (December 2nd), Anaheim (December 4th), Winnipeg (December 10th), Tampa Bay (December 14th), Columbus (December 16th), Vancouver (December 23rd), and Anaheim (December 29th).

Calgary’s longest home stands this season are four games and occur three times in just over a month: February 28th – March 9th, March 13th – 19th, and March 27th – April 2nd with Los Angeles visiting the Scotiabank Saddledome once in each set of four games.

Calgary’s longest road trip is a six-game trek starting at Joe Louis Arena versus the Detroit Red Wings on November 20th with stops in Buffalo, Columbus, Boston, and Philadelphia, and concludes in Brooklyn versus the New York Islanders on November 28th.
