If that's anywhere close to the price the Pens are demanding - that's a huge pass on Fleury for me.
Fleury gets all the media attention but if you look at stats last year - the save percentage and GAA are nearly identical between Fleury, Reimer, and Andersen (2.29, 2.31, 2.30, and .921, .922, and .919).
Reimer is almost 4 years younger and will demand a lower cap hit than Fleury - esp since if he wants to be a starter, Calgary is the only team he can go to.
Again, not saying Reimer is the savior or anything, but he remains the best option for the team at this time.
I would also love to see the Pens sweat with 2 goalies heading into the expansion draft.
