Verlander has thrown a lot of pitches, and man oh man does he throw hard, fastball was hitting 101 mph

Damon hit a 3 run shot into the upper deck in right field, thats all the offense so far by the Yanks

Detroit is really scrappy, they will not give up, went down 3-1 after the Damon homerun, and just took the lead 4-3 in the 7th

The shadows at Yankee stadium are starting to become a factor, the left side of the defence is going to really struggle to pick up the ball
