I agree, and yes, it is possible to move them if you need to change direction, depending on just how friendly the term is and reasons for wanting to change direction.
I just found it a very strange comment to declare failure to get 8 years a disappointment. Why would 6 or 5 be bad for example? Seems like a very strange thing to be locked in on. 8 years is an eternity in hockey terms, how do we know at this point that locking these two in for the bulk of a decade is the smart bet at this point? And I really really like these two players for the record.
