They have the cap to re-sign them no problem (assuming Dupuis goes on LTIR - which is a guarantee). Keeping him for another run isn't out of the question here. Especially if they can only get a 3rd for him.
That seems optimistic to me. I too am of the opinion that it is/will be a buyers market for goalies this year. But no way the Pens give him up for a 3rd - better to just keep him and see how the season plays out.
