Not literally a miracle, but I don't think it will be as easy as people are making it out to be. I personally don't think any of the free agents are that enticing.
The trade market is unpredictable as well. Other teams know we are pretty desperate for a starting goalie and aren't going to be giving us a discount. And teams with 2 viable goalies that have Stanley Cup aspirations (ex. Pens with Fleury and Murray, Lightning with Bishop and Vasilevskiy) aren't going to give away a goalie out fear of losing one in the expansion draft. You go for the Cup every time even if means losing a goalie later. I think most teams with 2 viable goalies will at least wait until part way through the season before worrying about it.
